KATHI’S KREATURE KORNER – EVERY 2ND WEDNESDAY FROM 1-2 PM
“Kathi’s Kreature Korner” is a show that covers every animal-related topic imaginable. Kathi Travers discusses and debates everything from animal love and companionship to animal rights and enforcement. Kathi’s guest list is diverse – she has interviewed a RCMP dog handler, a rescue helicopter pilot, the author of “The Rescue of Belle and Sundance,” you name it – if it relates to animals, it’s up for discussion.
The only topic not up for debate is Kathi’s passion for advocating and caring for animals. Kathi sits on the BCSPCA’s Board of Directors and has been in the business of rescuing, re-homing, and rehabilitating animals since the 1970s. Her work has taken her everywhere from volcano-ravaged Montserrat to the fairytale grounds of Neverland. Kathi’s extensive career as an animal advocate and expert has led the Associated Press to proclaim her “The Lion Queen.” The Lion Queen lives in Prince George with her knight in shining armour, Joachim Graber, and her puppies Max and Holly.
