LET’S TALK – EVERY THURSDAY FROM 1-2 PM

“Let’s Talk” is a current events talk show centered on features and events in Prince George. Kathi Travers and Peter Clemente co-host the show, and their guests and topics are diverse as the city itself. Local politics, business, art and entertainment, fundraisers, and more are tabled for discussion and dissemination. The senior’s report is presented each week by John Greco.

“Let’s Talk” is an open, unscripted forum where hosts and guests interact comfortably and freely, with the air of a conversation between friends. Half the entertainment of “Let’s Talk” lies in the dichotomy between the hosts.

Kathi Travers is an outspoken and spirited Bostonian. She is a dedicated regular at the Starbucks in College Heights where she loves meeting up and chatting with friends and staff. Kathi also enjoys reading suspense novels, cooking, listening to music (especially the Eagles and oldies on CFIS-FM!), and escaping to Tofino to enjoy the calming ocean and company of her spouse Jo and her puppies, Max and Holly. But they always return to their home in Prince George, a community that Kathi appreciates and loves for its spirit, generosity, abundance of talent, and vivid culture.

Peter Clemente is an articulate and analytical mind with a lifetime of media experience. He has worked for Global TV in Vancouver and CKPG TV in Prince George. Over his lengthy and fulfilling career, he has interviewed five sitting Canadian Prime Ministers, the King of Spain, and the Dalai Lama. He has done many things to bring you the stories over the years, including jumping on both the Pope's bed and the roof of B.C. Place Stadium. He has slept on Native road blockades, and stayed in a Buddhist Monestary in Northern California which was located just down the road  from the birthplace of the Jim Jones suicide cult.
